I have been creating murals and enhancing living spaces for over twenty years. I have experience in developing projects from small intimate portraits of family or favorite pets, through house accent work. My goal is to bring the personalities of the homeowners into their rooms in order to make their homes much more enjoyable.

My more recent work has been in highly creative corporate and retail murals creating an atmosphere and space based on my client needs and the site demands.

I am currently the Gallery Director at Spirits in the Wind Gallery in downtown Golden, Colorado. I look forward to speaking with you about your project soon.

Biography

In her decades-spanning practice, Dawn Kloba explores expressive color and linear sensibility though charcoal, acrylic and oil mediums. Self-taught, engaged in her local communities art community, she works in visual storytelling. Animals and people have been focuses of her early work. Moving from early city influences of Chicago, in a non-traditional path, Kloba as worked in the Southwest for the past 20 years immersing the opposing details in both the desert life and city. As an educator, her work has expanded her collection to include her client’s individuality and she has focused her latest work to create pieces that incorporate her clients experiences alongside her expressionism. In a collaborative effort, she works with her clients to produce pieces that include her interpretation and personal vision of the client.

About her own work Dawn says:

The visual impact is about the relationship between the viewer, the image and myself. It is in the relationship and connection built where my colors and expression come to life. Whether it is your pet, your family or a moment in time for the viewer, invoking an emotional response is the goal.
